First Annual Southwest Fiber Festival presented by the Southwest Fiber Arts Guild, will be held in Amado, just south of Tucson in Southern Arizona, on Saturday, October 25, 2008. Revel in the fiber, take a class, and pet the sheep! For details, click here.




Equine Voices Rescue & Sanctuary – Wine Tasting and Auction Fundraiser. Click here for details. Learn about this wonderful organization in Southern Arizona that is dedicated to saving Premarin mares and foals from slaughter. They focus on educating the public about the lives these unfortunate horses live in hopes that the public will help stop the cruelty. They also provide homes to horses. Read about Equine Voices.
